Tried to visit today and road was closed right after turn off of Beehive Road. Residents Only sign posted. Forest area closed due to fire restrictions. Check first before you try to visit— so many areas closed now.

This is a wonderful play area, but the rocks can be VERY slippery. This has resulted in numerous injuries and even death over the years. Enjoy, but be extremely caution. Great area to play in after a monsoon rain!

It was beautiful and found a quite fairly easy hike back to it! Maybe not even a mile hike down a dirt road. Very much enjoyed it!

This is a little off the main road but it's paved and only a few miles off 87, maybe about 7 miles. It is a little hard to find but you will enjoy the effort.
