The zoo is beautiful from the entry and the design that allows you to view the animals are amazing. With so many animals to look at, make sure you have a minimum of 2 hours to explore the grounds.

A lot of the exhibits were under construction or missing their animals. I did see some birds and animals that I hadn’t seen before. It’s a surprisingly large zoo.

My family had a great time at zoo lights. They did a wonderful job. My kids favorite part was the dancing trees. It was nice they had cookies and hot cocoa set up to purchase through out the park.

I looked up the pretty restaurant right IN the Phoenix Zoo. It's Gertrude's.
