We played Cave Creek Golf Course for the first time. It is an interesting and challenging golf course. The fairways were in fairly good shape, the greens were very good. The greens were very challenging as they were all undulating. The course had minimal services....More

Continuing my quest to golf all of the Phoenix Metro courses. Not bad for a city course... but close. No bag drop for this course, so you have to hoof it quite a ways with your bag. On the bright side, they let you drive...More

Like most golf courses, Cave Creek has a few easy holes (seemingly). There are some very difficult ones, too. It has a good layout, and the trees are maturing well. However, I cannot see paying $48 for 18 holes. Perhaps I'm just cheap, but that...More

I like playing here. Sure it is not as nice as some of the pricey courses but for the money I find it a very good value.

An easy course to book tee times and get on same day. We had a late afternoon tee time and had the course almost to our selves.

We got a day of golf deal for $15 each. Where can you play a 72 stroke course for this amount. This also included a cart! You may need a car with high clearance for the parking lot.

I was a little surprised to see some of the negative reviews. For a course that charges a quarter of the fees of the top resort courses during the high season, Cave Creek offers a great value. The tricky greens were in excellent shape (better...More

I have played all of the City golf courses and with the exception of this course they are well maintained and are as good as many higher priced courses in the area. This course as other reviews have stated is laid out nicely but poorly...More

Not a bad layout. The course is built along the Cave Creek Wash on the site of an old landfill. There are areas where grass won't grow due to the poor soil conditions. Some greens are challenging due subsurface settling of the landfill. Walking the...More
