Locals can't even go here anymore. Every tourist from California and Chicago flocks here to hike it at noon when it's 110° in their flipflops with their coffee in hand. No water of course. Stub their toe then call for an emergency helicopter rescue.

We ventured out there only to explore and not hike. It was too hot for us. But it was beautiful! Next time we will come prepared with water and hiking shoes!

I like to do mountain hiking. This was a really nice adventure. Really close to our hotel in Scottsdale’s. The hike is no joke. I consider myself to be of good health and above average physical condition. Based on that, this kicked my butt. The...More

Would regularly hike Echo and Cholla (backside up) 10 years ago. Was one of those ‘’speed hikers’’. Today was just the second time in that span and must say it kicked my butt! I’m still currently in pretty good shape but not sure how was...More

I enjoy how you can take different routes up the mountain. Certain parts are very wide, and afford ones exploratory side to have fun! And the views are breathtaking! Might even catch a helicopter flying by!

People have done it. I didn't , but yes, you have to walk back to your car. Other people have used Uber to drop off then have pick up the other side. Hope this helps!
