The Orpheum is the oldest theatre in Phoenix, with a storied history, and is just beautiful. There must have been many updates during the years, as the acoustics are wonderful. The lobby area is very small, so during intermission they open the doors to a...More

Went to Jersey Boys and it was great. We were in the balcony. Could hear and see everything. The decor is awesome, especially with the view in the balcony.

We went to see the Shen Yun Performance. The orchestra was outstanding. The theater is beautiful. We sat in the balcony and could enjoy every aspect of the performance from our seats.

This is a beautiful theatre, reminiscent of the European style theatres in Mew York, but with a western motif. The acoustics are good. However, be aware when selecting your seats. The seating chart shows a row on the right side of the theatre that appears...More

My daughter got tickets for Shen Yu for me. This production was outstanding from the well trained performers to the audio visual special effects. The brilliant costumes were unbelievable especially how the sleeves were maneuvered in the dances. I loved that the dances and portrayed...More

This is a beautiful old theatre. Unfortunately, the seating is fairly aged as well and not exactly comfortable, but overall the facilities are good. The ushers, however, are another story altogether. Tonight, we went to see the dance production "Shen Yun". I'll keep this part...More

You have to search for most of Phoenix's interesting old buildings but this one stands out! I was concerned that the stage would be small for the Shen Yun production which includes a projection and orchestra but it worked amazingly well. the building is beautiful,...More

This beautiful theater was renovated not long ago, but they kept the 1920's architecture. We have seen several shows there, most recently "Jersey Boys" and there is not a bad seat in the house! The staff is friendly and helpful and the venue has easy...More

Last Sunday we saw the Jersey Boys production and as this review is not about a show I’ve seen 5 times it was different because of the venue. This place is 100 years old and of course it has been remolded and renovated over the...More

My husband purchased Jersey Boys tickets for Christmas. Having grown up during the 50s in NJ, I had been wanting to see this show for quite some time. The theater originally built in the late 20s, has been beautifully renovated (mid 1990s I believe). Definite...More

Tom's Tavern is good, but I don't know if it is open on Sunday evenings. It is about 1-2 blocks from the Orpheum. Two blocks east of the Orpheum is the Renaissance Hotel and they have a restaurant that would be open. It... More
