Cool area of town!

Stopped for a quick visit so didn't get to visit as many of the unique places in this area that we would have liked! Tons of neat shops and places to eat and drink!

My husband and I walked along Montezuma St (Whiskey Row) in historic downtown Prescott. There are some historical markers in this area. There are a number of restaurants, bars, shops and a hotel. All dating from many years ago. It is fun an entertaining to walk along this block or two, read the historical markers, look at the buildings and... More

We had a wonderful day in Prescott and are so glad we traveled all the way from Phoenix to see this part of town.

This is where folks meet their sweetheart back in the day...before television and computers! Live music in most venues every week so lots of dancing to be had by all!

Cigarette smoke and the smell of stale beer. Ick. Then the panhandlers and drunken pseudo cowboys make this an area that screams for police foot patrol on weekends, but they are rarely seen and always in a car. There are some nice art galleries scattered along the street and that is the only thing that makes going there worthwhile. The... More

No trip to Prescott would be complete without a walk down Whiskey Row to see shops, galleries featuring local art and eateries...the only problem is that there are a few bars along the way, and smokers stand right on the sidewalk in front of the doors of said bars. If this isn't a problem for you, you will have plenty... More

Whiskey Row is where the western nostalgia of old Prescott begins. Take some time to stroll the streets and stop in a bar or two for a drink. Across the way is the courthouse - an architectural delight. Be sure to shop the St. Michael Shops. I picked up some great stoneware coffee mugs at the gallery. I so want... More

Whiskey row is the drinking and fun part of the plaza. Pub crawl to each cool place on the row and enjoy being a part of the old west scene. There is happy hour so check it out and grab a bite with your drink.

Whether it's the impressive 4th of July parade or the worlds oldest rodeo, Prescott is a great place to spend time. When it's 110* in Phoenix,it will be 85 to 90 with a nice breeze in Prescott. It has a very nice town square with large shade trees surrounded by a nice downtown which includes Whiskey Row. Prescott is also... More

Fun and totally unexpected day in Prescott on Whiskey Row. Explored several shops and galleries around the historic town square. Ate a nice lunch at Bistro St. Michael to refuel. Historic building with great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely return!
