We stopped here for a few nights on a longer trip. We expected it to be a total tourist trap but it was super nice. The city has carefully preserved their history and it is still a working town. They have added plenty of nice...More

The county courthouse sits in the center of a lovely not-too-large park that is used by locals and tourists alike. It's shady and square and there are interesting (if a bit touristy) stores and places to eat on all four sides. And some lovely old-fashioned...More

It is rare to find one in the Western U.S. - but Prescott has it. Beautiful park benches to lounge one - leafy trees providing shade - wonderful place to relax and watch all that is happening around you.

We loved walking around the historic downtown. We came last summer and had such a great time we came back again this summer. We shopped at many of the stores and loved it so much!

The historic area of the downtown square is one of the most unique places to visit. In the summer time they always have events going on at the square. The shopping is fun and the restaurants are great.

We walked around the square. There were many fun shops and restaurants. I wish I could remember of the place we ate lunch. It was an old saloon and had a lot of history.

It's a beautiful square in the middle of downtown on the edge of whisky row. It seems like there is always something going on there. It's a great place to sit on a bench or the grass and watch the world go by.

So much to do there in old town Prescott. There is shopping, antiquing, eating, drinking, and the courthouse is pretty amazing. Courthouse is also the place where activities such as craft shows, music and art shows happen. A fun place to spend a few hours.

Lots of shops and restaurants to spend you money. There are some historical places that you will want to see while you're in town. Check with the visitor center.

I agree with Robert...they expect you to pay...since you are from out-of-state and, in reality, can not come back to argue in court.
