It's so fun this year! One of the jewels of Prescott. You will love this lake and it's surrounds. The wildlife you'll see will stun you. All the trails are easy and marked. It's a lovely hike.

a lake in the desert seems oxymoronic, but too this girl who grew up in Arizona water skiing on the lakes, it felt good to be back. The pure blue skies overhead and the hot dry air of the desert along with this little lake with rocky shores lined with mesquite trees is a welcome site. A nice little respite... More

A beautiful place and so close to Prescott. Looks like a great place to Kayak or just hike. Kids would love climbing on the rocks.

Our GPS sent us to the far exit of the Peavine Rails to Trails located by Watson Lake. We persevered and were rewarded with a terrific and scenic hike along the lake; returned via the Peavine.

I like this lake is near me, but I hate that it get low fast. I heard that it feeds Chino Valley. Oh, well I guess they need water too. It is beautiful in Spring when it is full. I like that it has trails around it.

Love the views and hiking at Watson Lake. There are so many trails to travel and explore. We visit it every time we stay at Apple Creek Cottages.

Beautiful park and trails. Had difficulty finding the start of the north loop trail. It starts at the bottom of the boat ramp. Once we found the trail head and followed the white dots. Challenging course, labeled as moderate some areas slightly more difficult than moderate.

Fabulous hike, well marked trail. We spent a couple of hours hiking to the dam and back. The hike was moderate difficulty, Strongly recommended for visitors to the Prescott area!
