I did four years of volunteering here with both living collections and as a docent at this sanctuary. Recommend you spend a couple of hours here whether local or just visiting the area. Many of the residents are rescues of one sort or another. Some...More

All of us didn't know Prescott has a zoo! This is a small sanctuary for rescued animals who have been injured or abandoned at a young age in the wild. These animals wouldn't survive in the wild and will live out the remainder of there...More

We went for a full moon viewing, take a flashlight and be kind to the animals by obeying the rules. No bright lights in the eyes of any animal. This is a sanctuary and the guides and staff are very kind and knowledgeable. We saw...More

This is a sanctuary for injured and animals that were owned by individuals that never realized the care a wild animal requires. This organization does a wonderful job of taking in a wide variety of species and gives them a home. Many of these animals...More

The staff is great and I love that they post when they are feeding so you can watch. Just wish they had a little more variety.

Love this zoo. You can probably see the whole thing in a hour, but we went thru 2x just because why not? Super affordable gift shop. Very nice areas to stop and picnic. Cute area for the kids to run and play. Worth the trip...More

We really enjoyed walking around this small zoo for rescue animals. They have a very interesting assortment of animals from 2 bears, a beautiful tiger that we saw being fed, lynx, javelina, birds and reptiles. It was a beautiful morning, I suggest going in the...More

We had a great time at this Zoo/Sanctuary. They give you a little map and you take a self guided tour. We came on a weekday on a day trip to Prescott, so some of the attractions like the lemur walk were closed. We still...More

We spent about an hour there. As others have noted, it is a very small zoo, and no food is available. And definitely go in the morning during the summer!
