We did the loop trail that includes some bouldering and goes all around the lake. The section through the rocks is really nice, water views were great. However, once you come around to mid trail point you notice the Major Highway across the lake, not...More

Very is trail for bikers and hikers. Very peaceful and romantic landscape. A lot of birds of different kinds so it is good to take binoculars with you. Don't forget water and sunblock because there is not much shade on the way.

Great running trail, well groomed and mostly flat. Great walking trail, interesting wildlife and one particularly spectacular view about 1.5 miles from trailhead. Great hiking trail if take advantage of the many more challenging sidetrails. Great casual biking trail for mountain bikes and hybrids.

The rail trail here is one of the nicest, best maintained I've been on. Easy cruise past Watson Lake with some history about the area and railroad sprinkled throughout.

The first part of the trail is relatively dull, with just a recycling plant and police training area, but once you get to the lake and boulders, it's very beautiful. The boulders are great for climbing on to get a great view. The path is...More

Used to be a railroad track. Converted to a flat hiking/bicicling trail, with great views of the lake. Great for walking your dog. Lots of flat rocks and some benches for resting.
