We thoroughly enjoyed this excellent museum. The section dedicated to Phippen is absolutely superb, capturing his very diverse artistic skills. The other Western art on display is exceptional and the Museum's efforts to capture the Western art from this area of Arizona are terrific.

A gem in the Prescott area art world. If interested in top notch western art from cowboys to landscapes go visit. Main hall changes the theme of the exhibits periodically so check website.

The Phippen Museum is a terrific discovery hidden on 89 North just outside of Prescott. The journey through the beautifully displayed Western and Indian artwork is worth an hour or so of any visitor’s time.

Well-organized displays in museum that is a nice size and fresh in appearance. Many fine examples of cowboy saddles, guns and tools are mixed into rooms displaying realistic paintings of old West life. We are happy to have altered our drive to stop here.

A lovely gem of an art museum on the fringes of Prescott in the scenic Granite Dells. Exhibits change often throughout the year. Frequent Saturday lectures, children's programs, and dinner events also.

The permanent exhibits seem to focus a lot on the Cowboy Artists of America founders and artists who are/were in the Prescott area - and they are worth seeing. Beautiful sculptures, paintings, and some historical displays as well (we particularly enjoyed seeing the cowgirl/rodeo girl...More
