We recently visited and due to the summer monsoon there were an abundance of flowering plants. If you are interested in native vegetation in Prescott, the plants have name tags so that you can identify the various species.

I went to the Community Nature Center on Sunday morning. I was surprised that I was the only one there! I had a great walk among large boulders and plants that were marked with ID signs. It has a rustic feel, and must be a...More

Difficult to find. Homes nearby. Great nature trails with helpful signage about local plants. Great stroll with the family. Spent 1.5 hours here, walking, talking, & reading. Very family friendly, not handicapped accessible in my opinion.

This is a great little nature center in Prescott. There is a small cabin near the entrance with a Hardyville Road exhibit. Many of the native plants, trees and grasses are identified. There are trails for hiking and many benches for sitting and relaxing.
