Golf ball snatcher (;)

Beautiful course to experience the high desert; definitely keep your ball in play, no retrieving it because of the mountainous terrain.

We arrived for our tee time while a small storm was passing through. The man behind the counter said we would not be allowed to play since it would be cold and wet outside. Really?? It was 2:45 pm. I left and went to Dick's Sporting Goods for a bit. About 3:15 pm the sun started to shine. I went... More

Thought twice about writing this review since we don't want it to become swamped with play. We drove 11/2 hours from Carefree AZ to play and discovered one of our favorite courses in AZ. Staff was friendly , the facilities were great and the course was exciting. That is the correct word for a course that could use guard rails... More

BEWARE OF PHIL!! Played the course on a beautiful day with my son and got chased off the 18th hole by PHIL the course sheriff. Apparently there is a specific time to have the carts back to the clubhouse so PHIL can get home to his pretty maiden before dinner gets cold. No one mentioned this at the clubhouse when... More

Our hotel recommended 3 courses and we chose this one. We really enjoyed it and would absolutely play it again. It is challenging, but not too much so (I am an average golfer and did pretty well - for me). The staff was pleasant and very welcoming. The views were wonderful and the course in great shape. The clubhouse is... More

This was a challenging course but a lot of fun. I did lose a few balls. The course has a great design and nice views of the valley. I want to come back and play this course again.

As a visitor to the area I have golfed at Stoneridge several times. I've been golfing many years and consider myself intermediate. This coursew is well kept and challenging. A cautionary note; if you hook or slice you should bring extra balls. Anything off the fairway will probably be a goner. Nice variety of holes. Many require a significant carry... More

I played this course for the first time today and was impressed by the condition of the course as well as the scenery. Make sure you get a course play book when you check on ! There are a few quirky holes, like #5 and #10. But overall if you love a challenge, you won't be disappointed.

This rating depends on how expert a golfer you are. Since I am not much of a golfer, I would rate this a 3. However, that would be unfair, since more skilled golfers would enjoy this course. It is well-maintained, though a bit too hilly for my level of play.

I have played all the courses in Prescott area and this is one of the best. Very hilly, can't walk,,,good practice area, grass driving ranged. Its target golf with some long carries from the white tees. I am a short hitter, made them all but not easily . Its in great shape, greens have some undulation but are kind of... More
