This trail follows the old railroad right-of-way from the Peavine Trail to Prescott Valley. Best in colder weather - not a lot of shade

Since Granville ruined the beauty of the first two miles of this trail, it takes a while to get into nature. Once you're in, though, it is beautiful.

Very easy hiking along a historic route thorugh beautiful scenery. The Iron King trail connects with the Peavine Trail, another historic rail route that ran from Prescott to the Grand Canyon.
