Its a little hot in the summer, but riding the miniature train about a mile around the park is awesome. And the model trains in the buildings and playgrounds within the burlap shade is quite awesome. Definitely a small child (2-7) destination!!

Brought my daughters and niece when they were young and now bringing my grandchildren. They always enjoy the train ride as well as the carousel. They have a playground, too. Great park for a picnic and to let the kids play!

I saw a few people with dogs on a leash, so I am assuming it is. The didn't look like service dogs, so I think it is safe to say yes.
