I hiked 8 miles from the Gateway trailhead. Trails extremely well marked. Parking and facilities are great and maps are available So peaceful ! Saw deer, hares, wild boar.

There is an extensive network of trails with which to experience the desert. They range from rock climbing to walking to riding your trail bike.

This is a great area to hike and also learn more about desert plants and wildlife. It's close to the city, but gives the feeling of rural hike.

Beautiful dessert hiking place to step away from the city and enjoy nature. Wear hiking boots as the trails on this preserve are very rocky and there is no shade. Hats, sunscreen and lots of water are a must to protect from dehydration, Watch out...More

No bikes for rent in the park. if renting one elsewhere, you should be an experienced trail rider. These trails are rocky and rough and steep in a few places.
