Used Brandon at Journey America for a 2 hour, guided tour on a motorized bike through the desert. Scottsdale has not had rain so we missed the usual March flora blooms, but you get to a point where you can see 7 different mountain ranges....More

Husband and I visited the preserve several times and hiked different trails. I do not like heights but none of the trails we went on were a problem. Maybe the more difficult ones would be so if that’s an issue, I’d ask a volunteer. Scenery...More

We have lived in Scottsdale 48 years, and never taken the time to visit this great preserve. The preserve has been expanding for almost 30 years, and is now over 30,000 acres of beautiful desert tranquility. There are several paved parking areas, and sometimes there...More

We visited December 28, 2017, very quiet, clean air and great trails, great for enjoying the dry desert air and wonderful sun. The weather at this time was great, warm but not hot, wearing a light long sleeve shirt and hat is adequate for UV...More

So many trails and gorgeous desert scenery. We went on Saturday so were lucky to have guides present to offer assistance about the trail system. Flat but rocky trails.

This deserves to be preserved. Please visit, enjoy, and join the folks who are trying to save it from crass commercial development. The very people who stand to profit are the ones passing laws to allow it (I am not involved, but I signed the...More

No bikes for rent in the park. if renting one elsewhere, you should be an experienced trail rider. These trails are rocky and rough and steep in a few places.
