Fun exhibit of the "Infinity" theme. We can only stay in the room for 4 minutes so it's not enough time to get into the element but it was interesting. The Wild Life exhibit was very diverse, several mediums were used and combined together, check...More

We went to SMOCA for a special class in wet felting. What a fun interactive class to spend time in. Once class was over, we had access to the small museum. There are 3 rooms to wander through with changing exhibits. We were interested in...More

This was an extremely small museum. There were only 2 medium-sized rooms with artwork, the other two was the temporary light exhibit (that lasted all of 90 seconds) and a lounge area. If I had paid to get in, I would have been extremely disappointed....More

Were fortunate to stop by on a free admission Thursday. The space is not large, but there were 4-5 thought-provoking exhibits. We especially enjoyed the spin chairs and the ‘Wild Thing: Adventures with the Permanent Collection’ gallery. I’m not sure we would have visited if...More

This is a gem. Not traditional southwestern art. Cutting edge art and installations. Large enough galleries to allow for varied styles and scopes and room to enjoy. Well documented and displayed exhibits. Love it. Great restaurant on site with intriguing selections.

I read about a current exhibition called Infinity Room. It sounded really interesting so asked a friend if she wanted to go. It was very interesting indeed. Some things you should know... You must have a timed ticket to enter and they only let four...More

Before you go, check to see the current exhibits. For us, we found that one room was closed and the permanent collection was disappointing. They had an exhibit of Inuit prints that made the trip worthwhile but only because I collect them. Again, don't go...More

The museum has four main installations, each are unique and provoking. We really enjoyed the visit, including my 13 years old boy. The entrance fee is modest at $10 for adults, plan for about 1 hour for the visit. The location is central in Scottsdale,...More
