I really liked walking around the old area. There are nice little boutiques selling beautiful American Indian jewelry and artwork.

Definitely include a visit to Old Town when you are in Scottsdale. Great atmosphere of the old west, lots of shops, museums, etc.

An interesting wander along the main street. A genuine old town with shops and offices that look their age. At the top of the street is a hardware store that looks to double as a museum. Well worth a look in.

If you want antique shops and old school America living this is for you. The atmosphere is amazing and a great place to look back at and see how far we have come.

So much to do and see and so little time. There are nooks and crannies everywhere you look and bargains too, if you are paying attention. Still carries its charm after years of visitation.
