Oak Creek is beautiful but unfortunately the West Fork trail has deteriorated somewhat in the last 10 years. I was shocked to see some areas of the trail almost unrecognizable because of all the foot traffic. It is still a great place, but the amount of traffic has taken a toll on this beautiful place. Parking is horrendous if you... More

This drive through oak creek canyon is one of the most beautiful drives in the world. You will ever be disappointed. Spring allows you to see the creek briskly running and the trees greening out. Fall of course shows the reds and golds of fall. Winter is like an Easter postcard and summer you must find a place to park... More

This is one of the most beautiful drives in AZ. Short 15 min drive from Sedona. Drove up to the snow line last week end.

Our family loved the drive up and down the canyon with a stop for a picnic lunch at a park. You must have a paid permit to park in any lot or site but they were usually available from machines and could be purchased by the day or the week. Don't park without one..,

Talking about anything scenic in Sedona, Arizona is somewhat redundant. However, once you are fulfilled Sedona's fabulous scenery, great restaurants and hundreds of shops you may want to take a drive on State Road 89A North. Very quickly you leave behind the busy and crowded streets and enter the natural wonder of Oak Creek Canyon. The road winds along side... More

This is one of those top scenic drives you need to do. You're within the canyon walls, with variations in rock formation and trees. We were able to see the moon above the rocks with a bright sky blue background. Beautiful!

Love the twisty, turny road with absolutely gorgeous scenery. The views are spectacular and yhere are very manageable short hikes to commune with nature. Always visit here several times whenever I am in the area.

Check it out! Parking area right off the road, nice tourist boards with history about the first settlement. Gorgeous views and prime picture taking spot! Trails that lead down into the ravine.

Oak Creek Canyon is a not to miss drive for anyone visiting Sedona. It's a twisty, steep road but well paved and not too difficult to drive. A great view can be had from near the bridge over Oak Creek IF one is lucky enough to secure one of very few parking spots. Another fine panorama is at Oak Creek... More
