This is such a fun hike. It is kid friendly and solid ground. You do have to cross a few creeks to get to the other side but if you fall in it's shallow. The crossing is easy. It's so beautiful and the sound of water. You can picnic there and on a hot day you would have shade. This... More

Builds confidence as i was able to cross all 13 creek crossings. Perfect time of year too - we had a cold but very satisfying hike.

Great hike for beginner to intermediate.Beautiful scenery, so different than Sedona. Great hike to do on a hot day. the start of the trail is not as wooded but once you get a little ways in, it is all in the woods.

A fairly easy hike at the beginning, but the fallen-tree river crossings are a little challenging - especially for seniors.

We were hiking with a 9 & 6 yr old and started at 2:00. Between stopping for pictures and some snacks we made it to the end and back by 6:00 pm. Since sunset was 5:30 it made for an even more interesting hike but we made it out. It's a fun and easy hike and was cool in November... More

West Fork is also known as the Call of the Canyon Trail, and now I know why. There are fourteen creek crossing areas; most of them right on the water over stepping stone rocks, or small logs laid across the water at shallow areas. Expect to get your feet wet, and wear appropriate footwear that can withstand this. The trail... More

It was fun to hike a "different" trail while hiking many Sedona trails for views from height. This was a hike with little to no elevation and gave you a different perspective of the terrain. The trail was nice and shaded and included multiple stream crossings. Definitely an enjoyable contrast to many of the other Sedona hikes. Although I would... More

A great hike that beginners can enjoy in beautiful Oak Creek Canyon. There are 13 stream crossings so your boots may get a little wet. There are lots of places for photo opportunities and to sit and look at the peaceful scenery.

This was a nice break from climbing mountains in Sedona. The trail is mostly shaded. You stroll through the canyon, crossing the creek 13 times hopping over rocks and logs. The mountains are visible all around you, just look up in any direction. It's about 3.5 miles each way so be prepared.

The scenery here is incredible. Being in my fifties and a bit out of shape, I'm glad that I had my hiking poles to help with balance crossing the rocks in the dozen or so times across the creek. Depending on the season, it wouldn't be a problem, but in November, I wanted to keep my feet dry. There were... More
