Although the parking areas can be crowded and there will be lots of other hikers during weekends and high season the hike around Bell Rock is relatively easy and very scenic. For hikers in good condition who want an extra challenge and thrill you can...More

Great hiking around this area - there is a stop near the rock where you can pick many trails if that is what you want to do. Free parking, I did see restrooms, but I didn't see any picnic areas.

Easy hike with a stupendous view of Bell Rock and a glimpse of Courthouse Butte. However, the crowds of hikers and mountain bikes made it extremely difficult to enjoy the scenery. Either go early in the morning or late afternoon. Best views of Bell Rock...More

The fact that you can see Bell Rock long before you get to, doesn’t take away from how cool it really is. Great picture opportunities!

Parking is limited so go to the alternate lot if you don't find a spot right away. If near Sedona, you'll be happy you took the time to explore Bell Rock. The hike goes from moderate to more difficult as you climb the rock, but...More
