We climbed half way up..it was a pretty easy climb as the rocks are flat. On the way down we realized the markers for the trail. The view is great! Fun hike!

A very nice hiking trail encircles the rock at its base, and the more adventurous can climb up it. But beware. The parking fills up early.

Right off the highway, incredible to look at. We climbed as high as we could until the wind picked up. Made it 3/4 to the top. Looks more intimidating then it really is so you can climb pretty high and feel accomplished! Be ready to...More

Gorgeous drive through this area. Unfortunately, all the areas set aside for stopping and viewing had no parking available. This was in early October, 2017.

This is one of the more popular natural structures in Sedona. The entire area is gorgeous. It's hard to take bad pictures here.

Room for parking - main trail well marked, made it to base of mountain in about 20 minutes. Easy access from main road, can make it a quick stop if you are in a hurry. Definitely worth doing.

Huge parking lot with bathrooms and walking trails for any level of expertise. This is a 'don't miss' experience.

This can be an Easy, to Moderately hard Trail, all depends on how high you want to go. The Redrock and trails can get super narrow and slick, not recommended to go alone unless higher skills. Incredible energy from meditating here, and usually always others...More

We climbed up higher than the trail and had a great time. Beautiful view. Best to plan for a few hours as once you are up there you don't want to come down.

Bell Rock is a bit outside of Sedona proper, so you may want to stay in the town and drive the few minutes to Bell Rock. There is so much red rock scenery everywhere that you shouldn't limit yourself to a Bell Rock view, I... More

Go quite early in the morning for hiking to avoid the heat and then star gazing is after sundown . . . Say, 10 p.m.
