Took a mountain bike ride up bell rock with my 14 year old son we started at 830am and finished at 1030am (it was 100 degrees by 1030am). I did ok but he was much better. Our water was actually hot by the time we reached the top. We rented good quality bikes at Bike and Bean then road across... More

This is a good moderate hike with magnificent 360-degree views! The trails are well-marked and it is a short hike.

My husband and I hiked Bell Rock and went off the beaten path. We had so much fun finding areas that we could hike to. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an expert, you can truly experience God's beauty here. There is a small $5 fee to park and leave your car for an extended period, but... More

Looks great from the road. No sure if you can get close to it. We just drove by and it's fun to identify all the shapes.

My hotel was just two roundabouts past Bell Rock so it became my friend. There is a Vortex here as there is at Cathedral and Airport Mesa and up by Enchantment Resort. Pull into the area marked for the Bell Rock hiking trail for a nice close up look.

This was our first hike in Sedona. We climbed as high as we felt comfortable. Then we simply walked around at that level. The views are spectacular. We took our time and rested in several areas to take in the sites.

Great workout climbing the rock. Spectacular views all along the way. Start out by 8:00 a.m. to beat the heat of midday and bring water and trail mix. Don'the forget the sunscreen!

Bell Rock offers something for everyone: far reaching vistas, a climbing hike which progresses from easy to more difficult to challenging, and incredible beauty. Not only can you hike vertically, but you can add on horizontal distances by following the well marked trail which encompasses both Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte for a diversified experience. The parking lot is small,... More
