This was our first hike in the area - easy and offers spectacular views. Good for all ages or just as a warm-up. We went onto hike Chimney Rock Pass, highly recommend!

We combined the Lower Chimney Rock Trail with the Thunder Mountain Trail. This made it a little more challenging and lengthy. Round trip about 2 hours. Nicely marked and had increases in elevation and strenuousness. Carry sufficient amount of water! Only spotted two people out...More

This trail gives you an easy workout with fabulous views all around - most notably Chimney Rock and Thunder mountain. From start to finish, the short hike takes less than an hour and the incline is not very taxing - great for beginners or older...More

The concierge at Sedona Real Inn recommended our family try this hike our first night in Sedona. It is a nice, moderate hike close to the town with great views. Not too strenuous after traveling 8 hours.

This trail can be incorporated as a loop trail with other nearby trails. You will find the tread easy to navigate along this well-maintained trail. Being very close to Sedona it does get a fair amount of other hikers, but do not let that discourage...More

This is a nice trail around the mesa or if you want to see more, hike up to the top. The views are spectacular. We are avid hikers and the trail up was not a problem. Coming down is steep and rocky (slide easily) so...More

We went at 4 pm and watched the sunset from summit trail. Easy hike but summit trail is short but challenging. Views from top of the sunset are great. No crowds it is well away from the town so no traffic. I would definitely consider...More

A great get away from the busy streets of Sedona. We enjoyed the walk and recommend it to anyone wanting to give it a try. Kind of hard to find but ask the locals for directions.
