The parking lot isn't very big but we lucked out and got a spot. You do need a parking pass which is sold in the lot. Credit card only. The trail is very accessible and we took it to a gorgeous look out , chicken...More

Rather easy, short trail with beautiful views. It ends at Chicken point that provides a great panorama. Not too crowded. I highly recommend it.

We went up to the Chicken point which took us about 3 hours round trip. Here again Parking is a problem, but we were lucky to get a spot. Other reviews were spot on. The trail is very gradual and very beautiful.

Some minor inclines, beautiful scenery, parts near highway, but still quiet. Parking was full (about noon), but lucked out by catching someone leaving. Good distant views of Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock. Be courteous of people on bikes.

This is a nice hike at the foot of some of the Sedona buttes. It offers several different routes (as do most Sedona trails), none of which are especially challenging. It would rate as a moderate hike by most standards, with nice views.

Went on this trail with 13 ladies & a guide. Nice length, great views and vista, not hard - just a bit of gradual climbing.

It wasn't too crowded and there was lots of beautiful views all along, plus interesting plants and trees. I would call this an easy to moderate hike.

Took me 45 minutes to get to chicken point. But I could've done it faster or slower. The guide book says to allow for two hours round-trip.
