This was a lovely trail, with amazing views. It is short and easy and very peaceful and beautiful. We are both over 60 and my knees were sore from previous hikes. This was perfect.

Had only one morning left in Sedona and with a kid in tow, was recommended this trail by the folks over at one of the visitors' centers. Took us about two hours for the 1 mile, but surely a much quicker walk for those who don't have little ones. Beautiful views, and plenty of shade. You can climb up further... More

A wonderful hike that is fairly easy and relatively short, about 30 minutes in and 30 minutes out unless you travel off the beaten path. We have hiked this trail on many occasions and at different times of the year. It is always an interesting walk with stunning views of the canyon on all sides. You can hear the birds... More

Easy walk for seniors. Flat and 1.1 miles long. Get a nice view of children who have climbed above the Fay Arch halfway down the trail. Saw 2 western bluebirds in Feb next to the parking lot.

On a scale of 1-10 in degree of difficulty the Fay Canyon trail is a 2 for its simplicity and ease. However, when you get to the head of Fay Canyon (about 1.5 miles of easy walking) you come upon a rock slide. Climb up the rocks for a hundred or so feet and you will be rewarded with a... More

We did this trail with twin five year old boys. We only made it to the point where you turn to climb up to see the amazing arch (which we climbed up to see). Leading up to that point was a tranquil and flat trail suitable for everyone. We enjoyed the manageable challenge to climb up to see the arch.... More

Love this quiet, easy hike. Beautiful. Did not go over the rock slide at the end because it was nearing dark, but would have done so earlier in the day.
