We spent an afternoon taking a stroll around the park and enjoyed our visit. There are several nice places to get great and iconic photos, and plenty of brides and grooms with photographers taking advantage of the scenery too.

This is the where you get that famous Sedona view with Cathedral rock reflecting in the water of the creek below it. It's a short walk and nice views along the way at the grassy area, the creek, and the bare rock at the end of the trail. The creek was flowing higher and faster than usual when we went... More

This area requires a 10$ entrance fee. It is nicely located in a shaded area and near to the famous views of the creek with Cathedral Rock in the background. Ask the gate keeper where those classic photo views are located because if you cannot walk far, you will meander lost if you don't.

Expensive to park, but it's worth getting out of the car and taking your lunch to fit alongside the creek, from where you get fantastic views up to Cathedral Rock. Good lunch spot.

We went to Crescent Moon Picnic Site. It is a beautifull place. There is a creek and nice views. One can also swim and fish in the creek.

Pretty view near water. Was looking for reflection of Cathedral rock but never found it. Be aware of fee that is not included with any passes.

I have been to this place in the month of October with my wife and six year old kid. This is such a great place to hike with your family as the trail winds along the beautiful creek. We followed the trail to about 2 miles one way and had to turn back because of the rains. Makes a great... More

On a tip from our Pink Jeep tour guide, we found a terrific spot for an awesome photo of Cathedral Rock with reflection in water!

$10 a carload, no US passes. This is a beautiful, tranquil setting with shaded areas, concrete picnic tables and clean pit toilets. There are a couple of man-made streams running through it allowing for the trees to grow. There is a BBQ on a pedestal next to each table so you could bring briquettes and BBQ. They also have a... Crescent Moon is a good place for a picnic as it has great views of Cathedral Rock. Across the creek there are some excellent walking trails such as Baldwin Trail that takes you to the base of Cathedral Rock.
