There is no shortage of scenic rides/trails around Sedona. The Schnebly Hill Road is 1 such adventure. Colorful terrain, twists and turns of the highway. The tressel bridge is a place to stop for pictures of the bridge and the ravine. A stop here is also great place to begin a hike; short or long. Camp sites are available all... More

Took this rode from I-17 over to Sedona thinking I was taking a shortcut, because after all, it was listed on the map, so I thought it must be a decent road. Ha, it was the worst road I have ever driven on with a regular car. We literally had to get out of the car numerous times in order... More

We went up this road and stopped at a trail head near the end (where the road is available only to jeeps, etc.) Took lots of pictures near sunset. Spectacular!

We took a 3 hour jeep tour up this incredibly rocky road and the scenery was awesome! You get bounced around a LOT in the jeep but it's worth it.

The road has deteriorated over the years. it looks like no one is maintaining it. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is a MUST. The views are awesome.

Very rough unpaved road but beautiful views. Not many people take this backroads hence quiet and peaceful sightseeing.

The road has deteriorated badly over the past 5 years. There are now deep ruts and large boulders to navigate. Don't even think of doing this without a high clearance 4 wheel drive. Also if in a rental check the small print many of them forbid this road - better to do the Pink Jeep tour.

High profile vehicles are recommended? HA! this road is not maintained and will ruin your vehicle. Even the specially designed Pink Jeep Tours can barely traverse this road. If it doesn't ruin your car, your back and kidneys will never forgive you.

We went on Schnebly Hill Road as part of a Pink Jeep Tour with Duff as our host. He was such a great guide and terrific driver that we could enjoy the excitement knowing we were in expert hands!

We did a drive up Schnebly Hill road, not much to see and only a short drive before the road is blocked and only 4 wheelers (and apparently those who do tours) is allowed.
