This is a rough jeep road with some large, ledgy rock obstacles, so you'll need a four wheel drive with good clearance. Once at the top, you're treated to some of the best scenery you'll ever see. You'll not find a better place on the...More

Schnebly Hill Road is one of the must see and dos in Sedona. It is a rough terrain ride so you need a 4 wheel vehicle. We opted to do a Jeep tour--The Best of the west--that took us up on the bouncy bumpy roadway...More

Take a high clearance vehicle, rent a Jeep locally, or take your Phoenix-rented Ford Escort or Chevy Volt, because this road is rough (just kidding about banging up a cheap rental vehicle--but surprisingly, we see them in the most remote places!). The road is not...More

You really do need a 4 wheel drive or truck to travel on the unpaved portion of the path. Otherwise you will be sorry. Beautiful views from even the paved portion of the road. Never made it to the top

We were given a map of the area with this road from the ATV rental place. About half of the road was very rocky and half just fun dirt roads to drive on. Beautiful views of the rocks too!

We went out Schnebly Hill Road with our ATV rental. I wouldn't recommend driving up here and it's extremly rocky terrain. The views were beautiful but I also feel like all of Sedona is. We experience many of the same views on our hikes and...More

Take this short drive to the parking area and be rewarded by stunning views of the red rocks and the Sedona valley. As the sun moves, the views changed in character and shape, so worth while... numerous benches for picnics or meditation... be aware, beyond...More

Assume you mean Jeep Compass? Anyway, as noted by someone else, 8" just enough, but the drive will be very slow (probably close to 2 hours for about 10 km.) and find out if the Compass has 4wd, I would not attempt with with... More
