Kind of expected a little more than what we saw. The history though is good, the trip out there is scenic and the sunset coming back was cool. Not a trip I would recommend for kids younger than 10. The driver was highly informative and...More

This was really a neat experience. I would recommend doing this with Palataki. However, you need reservation at Palataki. We went to Palataki first on guided tour, got the history, and then visited Honanki. The cliff dwelling are bigger at Honanki and the petroglyphs are...More

Can imagine it's a pretty dicey drive during inclement weather. We had a little midsize SVU, no 4x4, and it was a rough drive in. Great little history lesson and the walk is very easy and short. Only 4 stars because it was so disheartening...More

We took the "Ancient Ruins" trek via Pink Jeep Tours. Our guide, Jay, was amazing, knowledgeable on all manner of things from plants to petroglyphs and things Sedona. A short and easy hike into the ruins themselves proved to be the highlight of my trip.

We got to the ruins via an ATV ride. This was a great way to get there. There's a not-so-paved road getting here otherwise. We saw cars coming up on our way out and I can't imagine that was enjoyable. Pretty neat to see but...More

This was a magical place. A very easy hike to a unique and well preserved Native American site. Highly recommend this unique experience.

I enjoyed the cultural experience on this hike. We learned about the Native Americans that lived in this area.

Easy climb but best to do it via Pink Jeep tours as the roads are unpaved to get near it. Plus the guide is informative

Agree with all the other responders...much depends of your friend's condition, the weather and how badly your friend wishes to see the village ruins.
