The Kraus family came to Sedona in 1993 with all their worldly goods and a dream, to brew great fresh beer the way Fred learned at the Gasthausbrauerei Hufeisen, or Horseshoe Brewery, in the picturesque village of Pottenstein, Germany. The dream became reality when they opened the doors of Oak Creek Brewing Co. in west Sedona. Known to locals and tourists alike as the place to enjoy delicious handcrafted brews in a relaxed, unique setting.

I have been to Sedona twice in the last six years, and each time I have gone to the Oak Creek Brewery, and each time I have enjoyed their beer. This most recent trip, I had a chance to try four different beers, two at another location. It's a small brewery, with a bar and tables inside the brewing room,... More

I'm almost reluctant to review for fear of replacing the local crowd with camera wielding tourists, but here goes.... Sedona has changed a lot in the twenty years we've been going. Some of the changes have been good, but many have sought to destroy the relaxed nature of Sedona. On our latest trip we found the West Sedona Oak Creek... More

I stopped in for a cold one...couldn't pass up the BBQ, it called to me. Brisket and some slaw, very nice, crisp apple made it .... 'bright'....I had an IPA medium size, the room is comfortable, lively and accommodating. Top notch knowledgeable staff....good job

We had to wait 40 minutes for a table for 4 but it was worth it. The food was excellent as well as their beer...I loved their IPA.. The burgers were awesome as well as their coleslaw.

We sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. Bartenders were friendly and provided excellent service. Food was excellent and priced fairly. Atmosphere was great casual, but nice.

It feels like you are driving down an alley to get to this place, and I can't say the ambiance is, well, hip. I can say they brew some darn good beer! Sediba BBQ Company is inside the door, where you can order some good food and it is delivered to you in the next room that has tables and... More

I stopped in and had my first Prickly Pear Margarita which was very good. My husband and father both tried the beers. We didn't have a chance to try the food, but the menu had a good assortment of options. The location in Tlaquepaque is a plus.

No fake glitz here, just good beer in a mellow, out of the way hide-away. Find a table outside, enjoy the pit fire. Ample parking. Free peanuts and popcorn. Light food service from an independent vender. Great after a hot and dusty hike, after a Harkins movie, or anytime the thirst hits you.

Nice spot for lunch. Food was good and beer selection was very good. Wait staff was a little grouchy but soften up, we had two children under four and our seating was in the main traffic path into the restaurant.

Nice small brewery away from the main drag in Sedona. The beers are very good, the staff is helpful and the patio is delightful. Plenty of locals who are fleeing tourist prices elsewhere. Recommended.
