Trevor has an amazing depth of knowledge but I would recommend not sharing so much data, such as the star catalog numbers. No one in the public attending is taking notes nor will remember. I recommend connecting to the audience with giving the group time to quietly look at the stars to find their own pattern, perhaps name it and... More

This team does a good job introducing you to the sky in the area. I do have a few tips. (1) do not bring a white flashlight. It will only ruin your night vision. You might find it handy to bring a red flashlight, but you should be fine with none at all. (2) Dress warmly. Even in autumn and... More

We arrived at a parking lot where there were plenty of folks to help you figure out where to park. Then a young lady split up the groups and introduced us to our guides. The guide walked us out to the field (football field?) of a local high school. I understand from the guide that the Tour company pays to... More

My husband and I had only one night in Sedona and instead of getting dressed up for an overpriced dinner, we decided to go on this tour. We are both very interested in astronomy but don't live anywhere where we can see the night sky so well. Our guide, Trevor, was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgable and gave ample... What a wonderful night! Amazing guide who pointed out Mars, Jupiter, many constellations, stars and moon! Guide met us at the parking area, took us out to the viewing area; had seats with blankets and heavy jacket waiting for us. The moon was so bright that evening, we saw moon shadows! I have never seen our shadows created by moonlight!... More

Great stuff, and not just because Sedona has an incredible night sky, which it does, but this small outfit has been doing this for years and they really have a system down. Bring warm clothes! It really gets cold at night, even with blankets,we were happy to have taken their advice and have hats and gloves. Our amateur astronomer,Rick, is... More

We had a fabulous time star gazing. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were very comfortable during the hour and a half because they provided not only chairs and blankets, but warm parkas as well. It was a night to remember.

My family and I went on a chilly, clear March night. They have blankets and even huge jackets for you to wear, so no problems with the cold. They also provide chairs. Our guide, David, was so knowledgeable and definitely knew what he was doing with the telescope. I hadn't seen the Milky Way in decades! We also viewed many... More

I’ve always wanted to know where so many of the constellations and planets were in the sky and now I can identify a number of these on my own! Astronomer Niles was our guide and wow, he provides his own very high powered telescope to see some incredible objects such as the Leo Trio (three galaxies), Sirius, both Dippers, and... More

It can be hard to find a good place in the states to really view the night sky, well with all the light pollution from the cities. Even then, you need a nice telescope to really get far, out, man. These tours have it both and for a fair price is you ask me. They use a high end telescope... More
