If you manage to find a parking spot at the Midgley Bridge parking area you can access Jim Thompson trail by taking Wilson Canyon trail to where it intersects with Jim Thompson. From there just follow the trail around the base of Steamboat Rock until...More

Walking in Sedona's beautiful wilderness is always a major plus and this path is a pleasure to hike. Ultimately (if taken to the very end) this hike would end at Midgely Creek Bridge and then, to walk back, say your prayers and try to avoid...More

This is one of Sedona's less busy trails, but still give access to classic Sedona scenery. Good for either hiking or mountain biking.

This was by far my favorite hike in Sedona. Not too many tourists here. The hike goes way up in elevation but is worth it even if you have to take your time. The views at the top are amazing. And it's dog friendly!!

The trail head is so close to Uptown Sedona I'm surprised that it is not more popular. The parking lot is easily accessible. Don't be frightened by the 50 yard section of flat rock you drive over. We had a Camaro convertible and it was...More

As relatively long time Sedona residents, we've hiked most of the trails here....this one is "easy", generally not very busy, and offers some of the best views of the West Sedona trails. It takes about 2hrs, round trip to do the full route from Jordan...More
