We had wine tasting while we waited for a table for lunch, we ordered the soup of the day which was curried pumpkin soup, and the pizza which was a Mediterranean! It was so big we couldn't finish it! And it was delicious

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and loved the sparkling wine & sauces we bought. I could have bought a few bottles, very nice.

Visited briefly for a wine tasting. Decided to have the $10 tasting which offered 3 tastes of their premium range. The extremely rude person serving at the counter informed us that there were only two wines available to taste in that range as they didn't have any other bottles open (and obviously weren't going to open one for us). We... More

Went on a quiet yet warm day. Only 2 shade umbrellas for all the tables, Food was very good but remember to look in on the specials board. Initial service was attentive and helpful but not pushy.Later service, considering we were only one of 3 groups there, was ,while pleasant, a trifle tardy.

We are local Tasmanian residents revisiting parts of our State. This was to be a pleasant lunch in a special setting. It wasn't. Tasmania has world class food and wines. They should be matched by good service, presentation, and surrounds. This was not. We booked an outdoor table in what turned out to be a courtyard. The courtyard was tired. It... More

We really enjoyed our visit at the Pipers Brook Vineyard. But we did not like the outdoor seating, which could be so much nicer. We were sitting right in the sun, no plants, no decoration, just chairs and tables: so no great ambiance. And you could do so much better.

The drive through the vineyards was obscure, windy and bumpy. The staff in the cafe were poorly trained as they did not know what was on offer. They thought English breakfast in bags was the same tea the the Australian breakfast served with leaf tea. Staff discussed how much to charge us for a pot of tea for two.

Stood waiting for 15 to 20 min to be acknowledged as a customer as on on staff was on duty and had customers already. Even so we still were not able to taste or purchase until a second staff member arrived. Flew from Victoria for a Tasmanian experience. I'm in the wine industry and this service is unacceptable. They don't... More
