Not much to say except that a lot of the bad reviews must not know how state parks operate in general. The park is great, has a lovely white sand beach and a nice brackish lake with a nice population of bass and snapper. Nice...More

Our research led us to staying 5 nights with our travel trailer. Campsites were shaded and generous and walking distance to the Gulf. We will definitely be back and next time we will bring a canoe and bikes to take advantage of the lagoon and...More

The water was very calm. You could see through it right down to your feet. If you walk out a ways, you can see live sand dollars! The beach was clean and quiet.

My husband and I visited Grayton Beach while in Santa Rosa Beach and it was amazing. We walked to the beach - missed the trolley - lol; but glad we did. The walk was amazing and we got plenty of pictures along the way. The...More

My wife and I visited this state park twice during our trip to Northwest Florida and we loved every minute of it. The first visit we hiked for a few miles through the dunes, around the lake, and in the woods. The second time we...More

Just like so many areas along the Gulf Coast, Grayton Beach is beautiful and filled with emerald green waters and white sand. A fee of $5.00 per car (8 people or less) will get you into the park. There are plenty of areas to nature...More

Nice clean park - beautiful white sand beaches and clear water. Prices for cabins, camping and renting canoes (on lake) are all very reasonable. Nice place to stay if you want to be away from all the tourism of Destin.

There are not many reviews for tent camping which I fear is a lost art. We stayed 5 days in the older section, site #25, which is much more private and not suited for RVs due to the low foliage. We saw quite a few...More

I don't think so... we didn't have an issue with this. The cabins are in a different location /entrance area from the main gate entrance to The beach /campground area

I don't remember seeing bikes to rent at Grayton beach. They don't even have a little store anymore. Other parks do like St Andrews. I believe Seaside area has bike rentals though and you could ride them to this park.

Unfortunately, we rented one of the cabin, which are located in a separate area of the park. However, I found the park employees very helpful with my questions.
