I have been to Brown's Canyon Ranch many times. I have wonderful pictures of my grandchildren there. There is no fee to visit and it is interesting to see how the water was pumped for the livestock. The hiking trails are relatively easy. The opportunity...More

I enjoyed walking through the ranch and was impressed with the thickness of the walls. It was rustic, but well maintained. I went there to hike, but liked discovering the Brown ranch history, too.

This is right in my backyard as I live in Sierra Vista, AZ and can hike from my house via Ramsey Road bike path or via 3-4 different ways and get a nice 4-5 mile walk. Hiking can be easy from the Brown Canyon historic...More

This historic site is really interesting, but the best part is hiking Brown Canyon. There are several trails to take and all of them are interesting and the views are awesome.

the old ranch house was interesting but wish there was more specific information on the rooms and the items on display - we walked the nature trail (3/4 mi) but early spring there was very little to see no birds or wildlife - we walked...More

It was interesting to look inside the ranch house. Ranchers definitely had a hard life. We did not have time to hike, but there were a lot of people hiking.

There are lots of hiking trails, and loops off of hiking trails; there are level ones, wide ones that are wheelchair accessible; there are trails for motorbikes, for horseback riding, including ample parking room for trailers just inside the main gate. Birders will find ample...More

This is a great stop on a long journey. I spent only about an hour at the ranch and could have used more time. Parking is easy right by the ranch and close to the bathroom. This ranch is full of history, change of ownerships...More

I do not know what "white object" you see. There is a house, a pond, and a watertank at the parking area. You can have a picnic right there at the main site, or pack it along as you hike around the grasslands at the foot... More
