Great trip! What a beautiful place. Be prepared for a long hike in. I was afraid that I would need hiking boots. Tennis shoes were just fine. My kids loved it. We can't wait to go again. Make sure to go early in the day,...More

I think the hike is closer to 11 miles by the time you get to the campground. I have to say coming out was the difficult part. The canyon ledge you come down is huge and I think that took me the longest to get...More

This is really a beautiful waterfall, and to make things better there is many more within such a short distance! Pictures and videos do not do this area justice. You probably think they make it seem better than it actually is, but it is even...More

If there is a paradise on earth it's here along the Havasu Creek in northern AZ. The water is so blue and clean it's hard to believe that you're not in a dream. Great hiking and swimming also.

This is an incredible place but it is rare that you will hike 10 miles out and find yourself surrounded by so many people. The waterfalls are spectacular but I found the campsite atmosphere to be more like a party scene. When you book online...More

Heading over on the 13th of June is it possible to hike the trail to havasu falls with some friends?

I'm assuming this means you don't have a reservation/permit (either at the campground or the Lodge) -- in which case I'm afraid the answer is no. An overnight reservation and permit are required for each person. Otherwise... More

Hi, to get a permit you must have reservations either at the lodge or camp ground for an overnight stay as they do not allow day hikes. Once you check-in, you pay the fees and are issued the permit.
