If your stand in the center your are in four states at one. The four states are Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. Always wanted to visit. You can also buy souvenirs from the multiple vendors. Scratched that off the bucket list.

We stopped here on our way from Alamogordo to Cortez. We didn't expect too much, as some people had advised against it before. But we thought, okay, it's almost on the way, let's make a short stop. And I have to say, we had a...More

Drove in from Page on the way to Mesa Verde National Park. It really is in the middle of nowhere. It's picture moment for $5ppl. There are Ute artesans selling jewelry and crafts, definitely worth stopping and shopping.

I was working in the area and did a quick turn off to take some photos. It has changed 'a lot' from when I was last here in 1999. They are constructing a real bathroom (plumbing) over outhouses, there are little shops all the way...More

Four Corners is in the middle of nowhere, and I would advise visiting only if it's not too far of a drive from where you originally are/heading to. We ended up driving about 3 hours each way to get to it which was way too...More

Poor quality rest rooms however they look to be building new, worth the drive if only to stand in four states, very quiet at this time of year, no lines for gifts, food or photos.

We used our credit card for a couple purchases, however they did tack on an extra 3% for running the card. So cash would be wise.
