This is an extraordinary place, with the building having many stairs and modern garden of cacti and arid plants in big planters. Museum pieces are quite different from other museums esp regarding perspective, light-shadows and sound.

Upon arriving at the museum one goes down the stairs to the entrance. There are water features on both sides. The museum features mostly modern art which does include sculptures. The rooms are well lit.

Building and outside surroundings are beautiful, but the number of exhibits open were minimal. Most exhibits under construction. What was there was interesting.

One of our friends had an item on display here and took us here to show us the art museum. It is small but still has a lot of nice exhibits. Parked on the campus and enjoyed walking through the grounds of the University.

This museum is pretty neat. Finding the entrance can be a little tricky (well, a lot tricky). Once you find your way in though, it is a very nice space.

I could not find a separate listing for the Ceramics Research Center. Its on the main drag at 699 S. Mill Ave., Suite 108. It has cases of American ceramics from each decade of the 20th century. And ceramics for sale. Wonderful visit. Donation only.

We went in May, and it was a great way to escape the heat. There are a number of interesting exhibits to see and experience.

I like this museum and gift shop. The collection is interesting and diverse, and is small enough that the attention span of my kids is not challenged too much. I learned about some family days at the museum and will try that next time. The...More
