We went here to get our copy of the day-after-the-gunfight article, which came as part of the OK Corral gunfight re-enactment. We also subscribed to the Epitaph to get monthly history articles and what not -- neat concept.

Old machines. See the paper the day after the shootout at OK Corral. See how the paper was typeset back then. I have such a hard time deciding which was my favorite here but as far as museums go this was the best.

It was nice to visit The Tombstone Epitaph during our visit to the town. They give you a recreation of the paper documenting the gunfight at the OK Corral and you can check out some of the old printing presses.

Really enjoyed spending some time in the Epitaph. Very historic and informative layout of how things happened in the past.

This is small. Children will probably not care much for it. Small museum style with a gift shop. Papers you get/buy are pretty nice.

Not much to see but it is by donation so worth seeing. It's super quick and self guided so no pressure to 'get your money's worth'

The Tombstone Epitaph is the local newspaper that served Tombstone in its heyday. The original building includes the front office area and the still somewhat operational presses where the paper was actually printed. There is also a very nice, chatty young hostess in period costume...More

The Tombstone Epitaph museum is a nice quick history stop when walking the streets of Tombstone as a tourist. It's the only place that I found that was FREE. The Epitaph's very first printing press is on display right in front and the back room...More

This was a nice place to stop in and learn a little. I was wondering how my kids would do walking around Tombstone for hours. Things like this make it fun. It is the oldest newspaper in AZ and teaches you about early printing through...More

Bisbee AZ, about 25 miles southeast of Tombstone or Benson about 30 miles North of Tombstone would be the closest. The next closest I believe would be at Whetstone, close to Ft. Huachuca. Then of course is the Airport at... More
