My friend and I were traveling in Guatemala, staying at the Laguna Lodge. We had just hiked Volcan San Pedro the day before and were exhausted and sore. Our hotel offered massages but at a ridiculous price, and we were unsure of the quality. Desperate for a massage, I googled "Panajachel massage" and Elaine was the first thing that popped up! Given her excellent reviews, we knew we had to get in touch. We emailed Elaine, who responded promptly and set us up for two massages that afternoon. She even kindly called us a boat to pick us up at our hotel. She is a fantastic masseuse! My friend and I both had one of the best massages of our lives! On top of the excellent massage, Elaine was incredibly welcoming and fun to chat with. We learned that you can even stay with Elaine and her husband Lee, which we will keep in mind if ever returning. Bottom line: get a massage from Elaine!

First day at the lake took a boat to San Marcos and we both got massages from Elaine! We had deep tissue massages and after several days of traveling it's just what we needed!

Los Elementos Day Spa is fantastic! Elaine has magic running through those fingers and forearms. The massage was amazing, easy to find, and extremely affordable. When you are hiking around the lake your body tends to tighten up and you start having aches and pains you never knew existed. She was able to work out all of the kinks in only an hour. After experiencing other massage therapists on the lake, Elaine is ABSOLUTELY the BEST!! Her prices are extremely affordable and she also offers aromatherapy as part of the experience which makes a world of difference. If you are looking for a legit massage while you are relaxing on Lake Atitlan Elaine is your girl. Enjoy!

Before my 2 + weeks stay in San Pedro, I decided to treat myself to a half-day package that includes restorative massage, a rejuvenating facial, a haircut and spa lunch. Following a beautiful boat ride, I was welcomed by Elaine and Lee in what felt like paradise... They are surrounded by stunning beauty. I was immediately offered delicious lemonade and enjoyed a very pleasant conversation with their overnight guests while Elaine was readying the massage space. Then, I could experience first hand that there is no exaggeration in the praise I read on TA. Elaine is very present with her touch and very in tune with the needs of the person she works with. I was quickly able to fully relax and experienced a renewed back. The facial was equally as good and enjoyable. Coming from France, I have often felt disappointed when receiving facials in the US. Not with Elaine. The lunch prepared by Lee, was lovely, enjoyed in such a gorgeous garden. I ended my treat with a great hair cut. -Elaine truly listened and did cut my hair with expertise according to what I asked- Now over a month later, my hair is growing pleasantly, keeping a nice movement. I will recommend any of Elaine's gifts without hesitation. It is obvious that both Elaine and Lee deeply love where they live, people, -locals and guests- and what they do for a living. It was a great idea to go there early in my stay because they both are very knowledgeable and generous with their useful advice about the lake Atitlan area.

We were guests, again, at Los Elementos, and, yet again, had a wonderful time!!! My son, now 7 and 1/2, again bonded with Alex, chief child wrangler and all-around-fantastic-guide! My son swam and fished and kayaked and jumped on the trampoline and played frisbee and had a great time! Meanwhile, I ate some yummy food, basked in the sun, and received an amazing massage from Elaine! Others with whom we traveled were more adventurous than I -- spending the morning kayaking and the afternoon rock climbing. A truly good time was had by all!

Elaine does a great job and is super friendly. Very professional, like the kind of haircut experience you would expect in the U.S. The only downside is that her studio is not equipped with a station to wash hair, which is one of my favorite parts about getting my hair cut. But, she does treat your hair very well and gives a quality hairstyle for a reasonable price.

As another reviewer said, I've had massages all over the world, and Elaine's was memorable among them. She doesn't just put her hands or arms into a massage; she WORKS with her entire body and really gets into the experience. I told her about a specific muscle I was having trouble with, and she worked on it, around it, behind it... from every possible angle. The pressure was perfect. Unlike some other massage therapists I've gone to, her concentration and focus were on the massage the entire time, and I felt she was sharing her energy with me. This was a world-class massage at one-third the price I would have paid back home.

Elaine, thank you so much for the wonderful massage. Strong, firm hands worked magic on my body and took away aches I didn't even know I had. A great addition to our already fantastic family vacation.

WE sadly only had a daytrip there, but Elaine is an uber master of wonderful, wonderful massage, just so great, And Lee is a bundle of information, wisdom and fun for exploring up the mountain or kayaking out on the lake. When you tire of the (indeed considerable) charms of Panajchel, and you want to get away from it all (but not too far), this is the place. the hotel next door is very cool too: cheap, hippie, good food and views, they wil take care of you for few days while Elaine and Lee minister to your sports, adventure and massage/spiritual needs. Cool place all around. Thank you Lee and Elaine!

After going for a solo kayak ride/swim, I had an incredible massage (probably the best I've ever had). It was also really nice talking to Elaine, as she's very personable. I could've just hung around their place for the whole day.
