This town is on Rte 66, which was bypassed by the interstate-- thank goodness! The historic buildings and the history that is displayed on the sites is very informative and colorful. Would visit again, only more than overnite.

Williams is very pretty, scenic, friendly. Try to catch the gunfight, especially if you have kids! We spent a few hours just walking up and down, looking at the charming shops. Don't miss The Singing Pig Restaurant - friendly folks, delicious food!

We enjoyed trying to picture how things must have been during the road's heyday. The town's collection of museums, exhibits and gift-shops was very interesting.
