This air museum is not very large, but it features several rare target drones. It also has a large exhibit dedicated to WWII pilots, adding human stories to engineering history. Located within 30 minutes drive from Grand Canyon, it is a great place to visit during the hottest hours of the day, before heading back to Grand Canyon to watch... More

I was quite surprised to see this museum on the road to the Grand Canyon, but it is very much worth a stop. Admission is only $6.95 and anyone interested in aviation - especially WWI and WW2 - will enjoy this and can spend hours here. I have been to some of the biggest aviation museums in the country, but... More

My wife has never shown much of a leaning towards aircraft except those that fly us on holiday so I was delighted to see how interested she was in the time we spent in the museum hanger. It is not a big display but what they have is maintained in pristine condition, the displays and well laid out and the... More

My wife and I swung into the Planes of Fame at Valle Airport and had a great time! They have a nice display of historical aircraft and a great little “Boneyard” display. It was fun to crawl around their KC-97 parts as I’m a huge Stratocruiser 377 fan and this is about as close as it gets! They also have... More

There's not much there for kids to see, quite a ways from Williams and not very interesting once you get there, disappointing

This is a small collection of war bird planes and memorabilia. It was very interesting and well worth the small entrance fee.

Not only did they have some neat airplanes on display (it's a "holding area" for their larger facility in Chico, CA, but they had some excellent displays on actual servicemen and women and their experiences. Those displays were numerous and very well done. They also had some very interesting and well done displays on instrumentation from aircraft of the past.... More
