The marina was a great place to visit. We took a kayak excursion but we saw that there were other options available as well. Swimming areas were nice too. Be sure to wear sturdy water shoes as its a rocky bottom. Restaurant was closed due to COVID-19 but a small convenience store was open. Great place to enjoy the day. Water temperature is 58° all year round which felt great in the 100°+ heat.…

Bathrooms located conveniently at boat launch. Beautiful area. Lots of wildlife. Locals said area is stocked with fish every Friday.

What a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of Vegas. Marina staff were friendly and helpful. Boats were in excellent shape and of course the scenery is spectacular. We visited in January so the water was cold but you can easily stop off at one of the many secluded sandy beaches and soak up some sun or take a short hike to the hot springs. Warning: if you are heading north on the river towards Hoover Dam beware of low water and rocks as you round the corner and see the Hoover Dam bridge. We hit some small rocks and did some damage to the prop. Completely our fault as we were busy taking pictures of the spectacular sight and didn’t realize how quickly the water depth had dropped. When paying our $100 penalty the marina staff mentioned that 90% of damaged props come from that exact spot by guests making the mistake we did. We take full responsibility however a “heads up” from the staff before we left would have been helpful. As long as you are aware of the hazards I highly recommend you rent a boat from Willow Beach Marina and enjoy a beautiful day on the Colorado river.…

We love visiting Willow Beach! It's not near as busy as Lake Mead and the water is crystal clear! Fishing is also great here. The only downfall is the water is pretty cold so we only go swimming in the heat of the summer.
