We were driving around Winslow and saw a sign for this park so decided to check it out. We loved it here. Unfortunately, we didn’t get there until right before closing so we only had a chance to see one of the sites...the furthest one....More

A great and educational place to visit. Calm and quiet, with open space all around- and Flagstaff’s mountains in the background. Ancient ruins to explore, pottery shards- the evidence of the long gone residents. A nice visitors center. Hiking trails. Clean bathrooms and showers. Very...More

There are two sites within the park. Both are worth visiting. The one without the visitor center is very undeveloped. There is also a small Mormon cemetery a short walk from the visitor center. Both have tons of pottery shards. Leave them there.

How could it be better than sites with water and electric, AND Hopi ruins on site. We originally had two nights scheduled, but we doubled that to see everything. Aside from the onsite ruins and museum, we also visited Petrified Forest and Painted Desert, went...More

While staying in Winslow, we drove out to this park. The ranger was very helpful, the park was not crowded, and the ruins were interesting. The walkways are paved with informational markers. There is a fee to enter the park.

I camped at this park when I was on the way to Tombstone. It was a nice campground. Very clean and comfortable. Only drawback was that they only had one working shower. So you have to wait your turn. Other than that, bathrooms were clean...More
