Interesting restored territorial prison with a small museum. Lots of displays and a film about the prison. Beware! There is a ‘dark’ cell (no windows for the really bad folks, I guess) and there are bats in there flying around. If that freaks you out...More

They have done a great job with all of the historical displays and history of the prison. This really is a bucket list stop for anyone into history.

The Territorial Prison is definitely worth a stop while in Yuma. The displays are interesting and one can imagine the horrible circumstances inside in the late 1800s/early 1900s.

Yes you can use a cane or wheelchair It is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm It was $6 admission when I was there in February

No restaurants at the Prison but there are many options within Yuma. My favorite restaurant is mariscosmarazul com.

If you're really clever, just don't pay and you will be given free room & board for 3 nights!
