Neil Compton Exhibit Room:With its grand opening this past August, the Neil Compton Exhibit Room gives viewers a glimpse into the life of Dr. Neil Compton. This exhibit is free and open to the public Monday-Friday 10:00a.m.-3:00p.m.The Homesite:The conference Center is the re-modeled home of Dr. Compton and now serves as a rental facility for seminars, conferences, workshops, retreats, intimate weddings, and private events. The garden is available for film and commercial photo shoots.

Convenient, attractive, walkable
May 2021
We only spent a short time viewing the gardens which were attractive and easy to walk on the paths we took; there were a lot of others we did not. One could do leasurely strolls or take in a lot of the area. There were not many things in bloom during our visit and we did not go inside the Center. There are a number of exceptionally tall and big trees and some items are marked.

Miles and Miles of Fun!
Apr. 2021
This is an extensive and incredible trail system for all levels of riders. Super single track for the novice and the edgy; super paved trails for all ages; miles and miles of fun. The north end connector was closed due to road construction so we rode the south end in the morning and the north end in the afternoon. There are so many trails on the north end that we didn't begin to hit them all. Thank you Walton Family!!

Walk to the bridge with the waterfall for a pretty setting
Mar. 2021
There is a small indoor area where you can learn about Dr. Compton. It's worth a 10 minute look inside. Outside there are beautiful trails leading to Crystal Bridges. Along the path is a restroom and a nice waterfall area where you can sit a bit. There's some art along the way. We took a little picnic lunch and enjoyed our time walking around. Lots of cyclists around this area.

Fantastic to walk; brilliant for bikers

I took the Crystal Bridges Trail two days in a row. I would never get tired of spending time here. It leads to the Crystal Bridges Museum and Arts, which is the must-visit in the northwest of Arkansas.

Share the path with the deer!

Great place for a light walk. The trail does not have much incline on it so it is great for anyone who might have a difficult time taking the trail all the way down to Crystal Bridges and back.

Beautiful trails

We walked to Crystal Bridges through the gardens. It was a really hot day, but thankfully we had shade in the garden. I especially enjoyed the sculptures. We saw people walking and biking and dog walkers. And it led to the incredible museum and Frank Lloyd Wright house!

I hope to go tomorrow

April 26 (tomorrow) is when the Native Tree and Plant Sale begins. I intend to get my husband to take me there, so we can buy trees to plant in our yard.

Good luck with this one.

So disappointed. We called ahead. The gate was closed. We called again. They might be able to find someone to open up. We went during garden hours. Nobody there. Their phone number sends you to the foundation, not the gardens. Just a huge miss for us.

Quick Get Away
Sep. 2018 • Couples
We visited this trail because it was close to our accommodations. There was not a lot to see and we made the mistake of going in early evening so we attracted a lot of biting bugs. The best part of the outing was meeting the director. She came upon us as we found a seat where I could catch my breath (asthma). She sat with us and showed genuine concern for my well being. We had a very long pleasant conversation.

Not anyting in bloom
Sep. 2018 • Family
We were surprised nothing in bloom. For a park like this it should have more flowers and plants. This park could use some more plants and the highlight was a $12,000.00 piece of $90.00 artwork.
