This is a small, heavily wooded area just north of the Bentonville town square. It lies next to the Razorback bike trail, but bikes are not allowed in the Gardens. It's a pleasant but short walk through the Gardens. Not worth a special trip, but if you're nearby, check it out.

Love the statues and other art along the walkways. We visited in the winter - was wondering how beautiful it would be in the spring.

this property was owned by a physician but is now a wonderful place to stroll or ride your back. the home is now a conference center as well. If you are in Bentonville, use this area to stretch your legs and just enjoy the stroll.

What a beautiful place to enjoy nature. Many native plants of Arkansas. Stroll along and unwind. You can walk to Crystal Bridges Museum by going through these gardens.

We enjoyed walking around Compton Gardens. It wasn't the best season to be at a garden, but the paths were nice for an easy walk. I would like to visit again in the Spring to see the difference.

Enjoyed our walk from Compton Gardens to the south entrance of Crystal Bridges Art Museum. The walkways are wide, concrete pathways along scenic ponds, past the Turrell Skyspace exhibit and Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian house, down toward the museum along lush floral and fauna displays. You will find sculptures along the way that are whimsical but nicely executed. This trail... More

Very nice, mostly shaded garden area within easy walking distance of downtown Bentonville. Plants were mostly the hosta type but everything was very well done and from the gardens there's actually a path that takes you to Crystal Bridges Museum. We didn't have time to walk this, but will next time.
