Very pretty old small town Porvoo! It is a real big enjoy to walk there during mornings, days or nights. Small houses, shops, cafes, embankments, the river and very picturesque views! I like it very-very much! Strictly recommend for visiting!!! Enjoy!

Nice place, the river bed is good to relax. And the restaurants at summer are wonderful and can get good food, beer cafes can be a must visit place.

A small old town but delightful. Map in the cafe by the bus station was helpful but you can explore other streets. Geared to tourists for gift shopping but this didn't spoil the old town experience. Wooden houses in various conditions set on streets or...More

This is Finland's second oldest city founded in 1346. It is a pretty place but not a lot to do except shop or eat. The cathedral was interesting but that was about it. There is a public restroom which says it requires coins but did...More

Nice pretty Old town. Area of Old town is small but pretty. Have some gift shops and restaurants in area and near by. If you are near Porvoo I would recomend to go there. Best time would be while sun in shining.

We took the regular bus from Helsinki which takes about an hour and drops you at the uninspiring Porvoo bus station. Some parts of this small town are modern concrete and very bland and its only when you cross the main road and go into...More
