We took the train ride because we thought it would be interesting but were really disappointed. The trip was short, the Conductor had some interesting stories but the scenery was disappointing and the trip in it self was boring.

My wife and I took the lunch ride, hoping to see some fall color. Unfortunately the leaves had only turned a little bit. The food was good, and the scenery was fair. The forest is fairly close to the track, so there is no long-distance...More

Although the track is only a couple miles long, the ride was very enjoyable and the conductor gave an interesting story about the train and Eureka Springs. A fun time and very family friendly.

We were there in the off season so no train was running. Still neat to look around at the yard relics.

During a girl's weekend to Eureka, my mom and I decided that the dinner train would be our "fancy" night out. It was SO MUCH FUN - the food was spectacular (we had prime rib), the service was great, the atmosphere was clearly fancy -...More

We had quite a good time on the dinner train. The food was quite well prepared. The service was excellent. The train rolls slowly down the track as you dine. Then it parks over a lovely little stream that provides a nice view while you...More

Although I didn't get to go on the dinner and train ride, this was still a pretty cool site to see. The trains and tractors are very old. The turn table is very old and still in use today. I hope I get a chance...More

The train operates April thru October. Since the winter months are not that active in this area, a lot of attractions close by the first of November.
