Hummingbirds
May 2021 • Friends
So my dad and I visited this Winery two years ago on my last visit and I really wanted to go again. The winery was very busy when we got there but they had lots of tables available. We were seated and told the lady we wanted to do a tasting. You can taste three wines for free and we each picked different wines and shared our tasting with each other. The really cool thing was that our table was right by the hummingbird feeders. I have never seen them this close up. Also I heard them tweet and the noise from their wings. The winery cat Ginger also visited our table and she was very sweet. Great experience and I got a bottle of their lovely Muscato.

Very fun stop. We love to sit outside enjoy wine and watch all the hummingbirds when they are around. The wine slushes are also good on a hot day.

Friendly owner, friendly cat, tasty wines
Nov. 2020
We visited during our Eureka Springs trip and I really enjoyed stopping by. Free samples of wine were great, as well as some Gluehwine/mulled wine and moonshine. They had a very friendly and chatty cat, Ranger (sp?), who was going between tables looking for attention & crackers. I can only speak to the sweet wines that I tried, but I enjoyed all the samples and took a glass on-site and a bottle to go. Definitely quality stuff!

The COVID paranoia is real in the Eureka Springs area, and here too we were seated outside only and expected to wear masks. As silly as that seems to me, I can't fault the owners for taking precautions as to avoid government-mandated fines or other penalties.

One of the owners, Greg, was very pleasant to talk to and willing to share some stories about the stills he uses and some of his future plans. His wife, on the other hand, seemed fairly unfriendly and snippy - maybe just having a bad day? We all took somewhat sour impressions of her, though thankfully Greg + Ranger saved the day hospitality-wise.

Free parking, easy to get to, and nestled in a nice hillside spot, I definitely recommend a stop here.

Local Flavor
Oct. 2020 • Couples
My husband and I visited this winery yesterday and found the owners/ vintner to be very hospitable. He gave us the normal 3 free tastings which in this day is very uncommon to find. Then, he brought us a sample of his mulled wine and his moonshine. We enjoyed the Arkansas Red most and purchased a bottle. Because of Covid, all seating was outside, but their tables were clean and they had portable heaters.
It was a very pretty setting, but honestly what we enjoyed the most was sitting down and talking to the vintner, his friend, and his friend’s brother and wife. We felt very welcomed. They gave us directions to the Beaver Bridge and told us of a quicker way to get back to our cottage in Eureka Springs. We really had a good taste of local flavor not only with the wines, and setting, but with the people which is something I really enjoy when traveling. Thank you.

Beautiful setting and great wines
Oct. 2020 • Couples
We spent a beautiful afternoon at this winery and had a great time. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We felt very safe there with covid being an issue. Tables were distanced on the patio and lots of area around to set up your own chairs and have a picnic. And we enjoyed most of the wines. They have both sweet and dry wines. Some of us like sweet and some like dry and we all found wines we liked. I would go back if I was in the area again.

Great wine in a relaxing and friendly environment. If you like dry red wine, the Laurot is the way to go.

I will be stopping by this place when I'm in the area. Very knowledgeable and helpful.
I stumble on this place by accident and it was a happy accident. I liked all the 7 samples I tried and brought a bottle of one of them home. I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area.

Okay wines
Nov. 2019
Owner was very friendly and knowledgable. However, the grapes did not grow well because of the flooding. The best wines were the fruity ones. He was kind enough not to charge me extra.. I did buy the peach wine since the fruit was made locally.

Try a wine slush.
Oct. 2019 • Friends
Our group decided to stop in and check it out. All of us decided we had never experienced a wine slush . Everyone tried one while sitting outside enjoying the sunshine. We plan to return.
